Not much got past Evan Isidorio, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Old Rochester Regional off the board. Isidorio has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Somerset Berkley Regional got a massive performance out of Jayden Cruz, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Cruz has posted since back in April of 2024. Alex Crook was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Somerset Berkley Regional kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Dartmouth beat Greater New Bedford RVT 7-3 on Tuesday.
Dartmouth is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.
