Rush-Henrietta had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Central on Thursday. The Royal Comets blew past the Eagles 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Royal Comets, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Rush-Henrietta's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Central, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rush-Henrietta will square off against Greece Storm at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
