The Homestead Broncos waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down TERRA Environmental 36-21. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Homestead has scored all year.
Homestead's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayda Fisher, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Ava Ferniza was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, TERRA Environmental still got an impressive performance from Shannon Greene, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, TERRA Environmental struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Homestead pulled down 20 offensive rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homestead will play host again and welcome South Dade, where tip off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Dade will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 356th, while Homestead is ranked 110th). As for TERRA Environmental, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against South Miami at 4:30 p.m.
