Even though the North Sanpete Hawks scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, the Juab Wasps still came out on top. Juab walked away with a 62-55 victory over the Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Juab.
Juab got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Park out in front who scored 15 points along with seven assists and two blocks. Park is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Braxton Hooper was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Despite the loss, North Sanpete still got an impressive performance from Ridge Hendry, who scored 21 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Cook, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Juab's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for North Sanpete, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11.
Juab will square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Sanpete, they will be playing at home against the Rabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Delta is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
