The Newfane Panthers waltzed into their game on Saturday with 13 straight wins but they left with 14. They walked away with a 54-42 victory over Attica.
Newfane's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landon Braman led the charge by scoring 20 points along with two steals. Braman has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Dickinson, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds.
Newfane's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Attica, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Newfane will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Medina is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Attica, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m.
