The All Saints Episcopal Trojans lost against the Prince of Peace Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. All Saints Episcopal suffered a rough 49-25 loss at the hands of the Eagles.
Despite the loss, All Saints Episcopal saw an underclassman step up: Ceci Torres scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Janssen Chisholm, who scored five points along with four steals.
Prince of Peace found their leader in underclassman Aria Jefferson, who scored 25 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Jefferson has scored at least a third of Prince of Peace's points. Naomi White was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and five assists.
All Saints Episcopal's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Prince of Peace, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-7.
All Saints Episcopal will play host again and welcome the Knights, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Covenant comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Prince of Peace, they will head out on the road to square off against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dallas Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
