 Meanwhile,  Chatham Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell victim to a  rough 11-1 loss at the hands of Western Harnett. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs Chatham Central has scored all season.
 The  win  got Bartlett Yancey back to even at 3-3. As for Chatham Central, their  defeat was their first of the  season and makes their record 5-1.
 Bartlett Yancey might still be hurting after the  14-3 loss they got from Chatham Central  when the teams last played  on March 5th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Chatham Central's  Maddie Kaczmarczyk, who   struck out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits.
