Westminster Academy was the 62-47 winner over East St. John when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Westminster Academy Crusaders fell 51-39 to the East St. John Wildcats on Monday. The Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Westminster Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for East St. John, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Westminster Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crowley at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. East St. John and White Castle will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. White Castle will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something East St. John surely won't give up without a fight.
