The Bradshaw Mountain Bears will head out on the road to take on the Greenway Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Last Wednesday, Bradshaw Mountain made easy work of St. Mary's and carried off an 11-3 win. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kodee Statler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Laila Silva was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Jaslene Valentine was another key player, going 1-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Bradshaw Mountain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Mary's only posted a batting average of .192.
Meanwhile, Greenway never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Goldwater 15-0. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.
Greenway let Caitlynn Schereck and Kaitlyn Bennett run wild. Schereck went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and three runs, while Bennett went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Bennett a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of TAYLOR BORUP, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Greenway's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Bradshaw Mountain, their record now sits at 4-2.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bradshaw Mountain has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like Greenway struggles in that department as they've averaged .458. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bradshaw Mountain came out on top in a nail-biter against Greenway in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bradshaw Mountain since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
