There's no place like home for the Johnson City Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by San Saba at home to the tune of 69-36 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Johnson City also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Johnson City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Fulton out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Mccray Jacobs was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Johnson City's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points per game. As for San Saba, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-14.
Coincidentally, Johnson City and San Saba will both be playing Center Point the next time they take the court. Johnson City will host Center Point at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while San Saba will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
