Izzie Ackerman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Castro, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
La Junta now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Discovery Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
