Pacific Bay Christian suffered a tough 68-46 loss at the hands of Kehillah on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Pacific Bay Christian has suffered since December 15, 2023.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brady Strickland, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Galicia, who scored ten points.
It was another big night for Ittai Kohavi, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 rebounds for Kehillah. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kohavi has scored all season. Bodhi Gemello was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Pacific Bay Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Kehillah, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pacific Bay Christian will take on Design Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kehillah, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Summit Shasta at 5:15 p.m. on January 22nd. Summit Shasta has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 331 points over their last four contests.
