Basketball Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

The contest between the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers and the Viera Hawks didn't end well, with the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers falling 73-57. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Hawks are ranked 114th).

Despite the loss, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaylan Hall posted 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season. Michael Otero was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Viera, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy and The First Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Viera, they will be taking part in a tournament against Palm Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
