Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hanover's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 58-36 defeat at the hands of Clifton-Clyde. Hanover has not had much luck with Clifton-Clyde recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Doniphan West's victory ended a 16-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Hanover, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3.
