Chandler took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Kofa get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Kings: they've now won four in a row.
The team relied heavily on Lily Kolsrud, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. Mckenna Whitehair was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Mountain View made easy work of Mesa on Thursday and carried off a 21-0 win.
Daniella Gloria made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Mountain View got a massive performance out of Keelie Goodman, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. Those triples were Goodman's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Paige Hunt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Chandler hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Mountain View struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Chandler couldn't quite finish off Mountain View when the teams last played back in March of 2025 and fell 10-8. Will the Wolves have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
