The Trotwood-Madison Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They put the hurt on Meadowdale with a sharp 91-67 win. Considering Trotwood-Madison has won five contests by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Tim Carpenter, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Marlon Howard Jr., who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Trotwood-Madison pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points per game. As for Meadowdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season.
Trotwood-Madison will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Withrow at 7:30 p.m. Withrow will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 428th, while Trotwood-Madison is ranked 71st). As for Meadowdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Thurgood Marshall at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
