Trinity Leadership suffered a tough 49-28 loss at the hands of Wyatt on Tuesday. Trinity Leadership's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the squad, making it five in a row.
Wyatt's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cynaa Weathers, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Zyniesha Horner was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists.
Trinity Leadership bumped their record down to 2-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.0 points per game. As for Wyatt, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Trinity Leadership will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against A Plus Academy at 6:00 p.m. A Plus Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Wyatt, they will head out on the road to face off against Kennedale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kennedale is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
