The Titans never let San Gorgonio get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.
Lillian Phelps made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Vanessa Garcia and Reyna Garcia did most of the damage at the plate: Vanessa scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while Reyna went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Reyna has posted since back in February. Joclyn Cota also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, Temescal Canyon's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They blew past Elsinore 14-0.

At the plate, Temescal Canyon got a massive performance out of BREA TILLERY, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. SAMI OLSON was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Temescal Canyon lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in three consecutive contests.
Tahquitz now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Temescal Canyon, their record now sits at 10-5.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Tahquitz hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. However, it's not like Temescal Canyon struggles in that department as they've averaged .393. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
