Brady Mayo was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with four steals for Beaver. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Mayo has scored at least a third of Beaver's points. Ty Butler was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Hopewell dropped their record down to 6-10 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Beaver, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
