South Haven Christian have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season. They took their match at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-26 victory over Metro Christian Academy. The victory was just what South Haven Christian needed coming off of a 57-33 defeat in their prior matchup.
South Haven Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aliya Gagliano, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Gagliano's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Palmore, who scored 19 points.
South Haven Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Metro Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
South Haven Christian will head out on the road to face off against Clarksville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Clarksville Christian is on a five-game streak of home wins, South Haven Christian a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Metro Christian Academy will take on Horizon Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
