As for Los Altos, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. Winning may never get old, but they sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
On Los Altos' side, Kaylahni Duenas made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Duenas was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other pitching news, Devany Alferez looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Brianah Alejandre, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times she's played.
