Puyallup has won three straight games at home, while Emerald Ridge has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. Puyallup's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over Spanaway Lake. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Sentinels recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Kiera Thomas made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Puyallup has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .501. However, it's not like Emerald Ridge struggles in that department as they've averaged .507. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Puyallup might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Emerald Ridge in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Vikings have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
