The biggest upset of the week belonged to Millry, who took down 190th ranked Leroy, 46-13.
Sweet Water was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in 2A Region 1. Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs triumphed over Southern Choctaw 14-8.
The Indians' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Danny Napier threw for 115 yards and Savon McCoy had 66 yards receiving. On the ground Quentin Adams chipped in 58 yards. LaBrandon Young helped Southern Choctaw's passing attack out by catching one ball for 28 yards.
Southern Choctaw's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Napier has thrown for 325 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Young has seven catches for 153 yards. Adams leads the league in rushing with 545 yards.
The Wildcats moved up to 176 from 226 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 46-13 win over the Bears helped Millry improve its standing.
