The Wayne Trace Raiders lost against the Crestview Knights back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Wayne Trace fell 43-35 to Crestview. Wayne Trace has not had much luck with Crestview recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Crestview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cali Gregory out in front who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Gregory hasn't dropped below 18 points for 12 straight games. Kaci Gregory was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Wayne Trace's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Crestview, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.
Wayne Trace will head out on the road to challenge Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crestview, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lincolnview at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Lincolnview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Thursday.
