This season hasn't been kind to the Salmon River Shamrocks, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 74-20 loss at the hands of Franklin Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Salmon River has scored all season.
Garrett Osborn was his usual excellent self, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals for Franklin Academy. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Poupore, who scored four points along with six steals and five assists.
Salmon River's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Franklin Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Salmon River will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Massena at 7:00 p.m. Massena presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Salmon River in New York (Massena is ranked 237th, while Salmon River is ranked 717th). As for Franklin Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Canton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
