Genoa Christian Academy was beaten by the Barons 58-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Genoa Christian Academy has scored all season.
Zane Groves and Jackson Kirura certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Groves scored five points, while Kirura scored five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Genoa Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Buckeye Valley, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Genoa Christian Academy will be playing at home against the at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Granville Christian Academy has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16. As for Buckeye Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge the Silver Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Ready presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Barons in Ohio (the Silver Knights are ranked 90th, while the Barons are ranked 388th).
