Forest had to start their season on the road  on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against  the South Lake Eagles, falling  10-4. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
  Rilynn Fountain was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with one  home run.  Savannah Langworthy was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  RBI and one  double.
The  victory made it two in a row for South Lake and  bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Lake Minneola  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up.
