After flying high against the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen last Tuesday, the Fox Tech Buffaloes came back down to earth. Fox Tech fell 50-43 to La Vernia on Friday. Fox Tech has struggled against La Vernia recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Fox Tech lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Anthony Reyes, who scored nine points along with six assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Moreno, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Fox Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-21 record this season. As for La Vernia, their victory bumped their record up to 30-1.
Fox Tech will head out on the road to square off against Gonzales at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gonzales is coming into the game with three straight defeats at home, meaning Fox Tech will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. La Vernia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
