Basketball Recap: Kimberton Waldorf Piles Up the Points Against Woodlynde

With a playoff win on the line, Kimberton Waldorf rose to the challenge on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Woodlynde 52-21. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulls had established a 25 point advantage.

Kimberton Waldorf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Franklin Matichak led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Matichak a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jojo Da Graca, who posted eight points and four steals.

Kimberton Waldorf smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Kimberton Waldorf has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Woodlynde, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
