After a string of seven wins, Weber's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 88-80 to the Highland Rams. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (67), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Highland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vai Higby, who went 12 of 16 on his way to 28 points in addition to five boards and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Higby a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Anderton, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds.

Weber's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Highland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Weber will host West Field at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Weber's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Highland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-51 victory against Pleasant Grove on the 28th.
