St. Francis Prep had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 win over the St. John the Baptist Cougars on Saturday. The Terriers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Jack Leary was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground.

Coming up, St. Francis Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. John the Baptist, they will head out to face off against Holy Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
