Elgin's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-21. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.0 points per game. As for Cedar Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season.
