On Saturday, Metrolina Christian Academy made easy work of Academic Magnet and carried off a 53-29 victory.
Metrolina Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DeAngelo Walker, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Mumpower, who scored 12 points.
Metrolina Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Academic Magnet, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord Academy will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
