Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kylan Collins, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten assists. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rahsad MacLin, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 boards.
Collins wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Bolton was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fayette Ware only racked up 11 assists.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bolivar Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They managed a 69-63 victory over Middleton on Saturday.
Bolivar Central's win came from a few key players Bolton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jordan Dixon, who went 6 for 8 en route to 18 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kealan Polk, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.
The win got Bolivar Central back to even at 11-11. As for Bolton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bolton has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bolivar Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 27.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
