On Wednesday, the Northwestern Bulls made easy work of the Goleman Gators and carried off a 47-23 victory. The Bulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Myah Newton, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Newton is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Terriyah Montgomery, who posted six points along with seven boards and three steals.

Northwestern was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Northwestern's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.9 points per game. As for Goleman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Northwestern and Goleman are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Northwestern has already played their next contest (against Key West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Goleman will head out on the road to challenge Ferguson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
