Tularosa hadn't done well against Cobre recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Indians 10-3. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Tularosa, bringing their record up to 14-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cobre, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

Tularosa will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
