The Larimore Polar Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Park River/Fordville-Lankin. That's two games in a row now that Larimore has lost by exactly six points.
Larimore's loss came despite strong showings from Michael Myers and Brison Falch. Myers dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds, while Falch scored 16 points along with four steals. It was the first time this season that Falch scored 15 or more points. Jace Collison was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Larimore's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Park River/Fordville-Lankin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-13 record this season.
Larimore will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. As for Park River/Fordville-Lankin, they will be playing at home against Warwick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in North Dakota (Park River/Fordville-Lankin is ranked 104th, while Warwick is ranked 103rd).
