The Chenango Forks Blue Devils's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They secured a 54-50 W over Union Springs.
Stephen Samsel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Drew Warpus, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Chenango Forks' win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Union Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chenango Forks will take on Susquehanna Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Susquehanna Valley is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Union Springs, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Tioga at 6:45 p.m. on February 2nd.
