Gulfport fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Biloxi on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 5-4. The Admirals' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

On the hitting side, Davis Ormes was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Owen Bellanger, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
