If the Worth County Tigers were feeling good  off their  57-29 takedown of the South Holt Knights last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Worth County took a   47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax]. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Worth County in their matchups with East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax]: they've now lost four in a row.
 Worth County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kristen Tracy, who  scored six points along with eight  rebounds and six  assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rylee Ruckman, who  scored 12 points.
 Worth County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.
 Worth County will head out on the road to  challenge  Maysville at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Andrew at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
