The Torres Toros will head out on the road to face off against the Elizabeth Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Torres is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Torres suffered their biggest loss since November 29, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the victim of a tough 47-27 loss at the hands of Maywood CES.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 93-29 defeat at the hands of Marquez. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Elizabeth has scored all season.
Torres has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Elizabeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Torres strolled past Elizabeth when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 84-68. The rematch might be a little tougher for Torres since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
