They took a 66-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Durham School of the Arts. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cristo Rey Research Triangle's loss came despite strong showings from Jamaal Miller and Christian Gill. Miller dropped a double-double on 23 points and 20 rebounds, while Gill scored 25 points along with five rebounds. Miller scored a full 40.4% of Cristo Rey Research Triangle's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Dix, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Cristo Rey Research Triangle now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for Durham School of the Arts, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
