Saxony Lutheran was led to victory by Owen Bucheit and Luke Eggemeyer. Bucheit scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Eggemeyer dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Eggemeyer has scored at least 25% of Saxony Lutheran's points. Another player making a difference was John Hartmann, who scored seven points along with five assists and three steals.
Saxony Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
