The John Paul the Great Academy Guardians can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat First Baptist Christian 48-18 at home. The victory was just what John Paul the Great Academy needed coming off of a 46-26 loss in their prior game.
Leading John Paul the Great Academy to victory were Ezra Moutin and Bobby Odinet. Moutin scored 15 points along with five steals, while Odinet scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Evan Sonnier, who scored six points along with six steals.
John Paul the Great Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for First Baptist Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-6.

Christian HomeSchool Sports Association of Acadiana is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for First Baptist Christian, they will be playing at home against Bishop Noland Episcopal Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than First Baptist Christian in Louisiana (Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is ranked 103rd, while First Baptist Christian is ranked 290th).
