Hamilton have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Melrose on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Hamilton come in off of six low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Hamilton, and their matchup two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to seven. They suffered a grim 8-40 defeat to Douglass two weeks ago. The state rankings had actually given Hamilton a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Last Tuesday, Melrose and Trezevant were almost perfectly matched up, but Melrose suffered an agonizing 14-15 defeat.
Hamilton took a serious blow against Melrose the last time the two teams met, falling 14-50. Can Hamilton avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
