Southeast suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 61-40 walloping at the hands of Neodesha. Southeast was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-12.
Meanwhile, Altoona-Midway scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 69-31 victory over Chetopa at home. That looming 69-31 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Altoona-Midway yet this season.
William Stackhouse continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Altoona-Midway's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Meigs, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Southeast bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Altoona-Midway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
