The Eatonville Cruisers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Rochester on the road to the tune of 76-45. With that win, Eatonville brought their scoring average up to 54 points per game.
Eatonville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amari Samuel out in front who scored 16 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Samuel grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Clevenger, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds.
Eatonville's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Rochester, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eatonville will face off against Morton/White Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Morton/White Pass is ranked 246th, while Eatonville is ranked 227th). As for Rochester, they will head out on the road to face off against Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Centralia comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
