After flying high against Progreso last Thursday, Lyford came back down to earth. The Lyford Bulldogs took a 36-19 bruising from the San Diego Vaqueros on Friday. Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lyford will challenge Edna at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Edna knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Lyford likes a good challenge. As for San Diego, they will take on Orange Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Orange Grove will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
