Baseball Recap: Cicero-North Syracuse Wins Going Away Against Central Square

Cicero-North Syracuse was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Central Square on Friday. The Northstars were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Redhawks. Considering the Northstars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The team relied heavily on Jaden Zimmer, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Shacory Williams, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Cicero-North Syracuse's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Central Square, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Cicero-North Syracuse will welcome Fayetteville-Manlius at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Central Square, they will host Baldwinsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Bees have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
