The California Condors will challenge the La Serna Lancers at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
California's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over El Rancho. The win was familiar territory for the Condors, who have now won three matches in a row.
The result came thanks to Alexis Salas's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Hailey Chavolla was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Serna). They blew past Whittier 17-2 on Tuesday. With that victory, the Lancers brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Cann Puig looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Aubrie Baruch was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Mariah Mihecoby was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
La Serna always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win made it two in a row for La Serna and bumps their season record up to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for California, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.
